I was born and raised in Chester County, PA. My husband and I moved to the Bay Area in Northern CA in 2009. I had never heard the term doula until I became pregnant with my first child. Hiring a Birth Doula was one of the best decisions my husband and I ever made. It made me want to become one.
As a mother of four, I am passionate about empowering mothers and helping them have a positive birth and postpartum experience. It is very important to have emotional support before, during and after birth and equally vital to have that extra pair of hands/physical support, as well. My own birth experiences (including 3 miscarriages- one of which was at 20 weeks) combined with the countless familes I have supported make me an excellent doula. I have decades of experience caring for infants and children. My relationships with my clients do not end when the contract expires.
After twelve years in the Bay Area, I am now back in Pennsylvania. I am currently serving Bucks County and the surrounding areas.
